The Shimano Butterfly Monarch Jigs are ideal for bottom fish as well as pelagics.  Shimanos butterfly jigs are well known for their capabilities and actions and the the Butterfly Monarch is designed to put something a little different in front of them.  On the retrieve, the jig is designed to swim in a circular motion, even while jerked, to imitate a fleeing baitfish.  On the fall the jig will fall horizontally but will begin to spiral once it starts slowing down, keeping it in the strike zone longer.
